Alpmate links equipment allocation directly to student lesson bookings, ensuring gear is reserved and pre-sized before the guest arrives at the base station.
Setting Up Fleet Categories
- Go to Operations → Equipment in your workspace.
- Define your asset categories:
- Mountain Bikes: Downhill, Enduro, e-MTB, Kids. Specify frame sizes (S, M, L, XL).
- Skis & Snowboards: All-Mountain, Freeride, Race. Specify length ranges (cm) and boot mondo sizes.
- Protection: Helmets, knee pads, back protectors.
Automated Sizing at Checkout
When a guest adds equipment rental to their lesson booking, the public booking widget prompts for:
- Height (cm or ft/in)
- Weight (kg or lbs)
- Boot size
- Rider stance (Regular / Goofy)
The system automatically decrements inventory for the matching size variant. If all Medium Enduro bikes are booked for Saturday morning, the widget automatically marks that rental option as sold out while continuing to sell lesson-only tickets.
Service & Maintenance Intervals
Log maintenance hours directly against each serial number:
- Brake pad replacements
- Suspension fork service hours
- Ski base grinding and edge tuning
Assets flagged for service are automatically temporarily removed from active rental availability until marked cleared by your workshop technician.
